Bethany’s Photos from Sunday 16 October 2016

Article by Geoff Caine

I have produced two galleries of photos taken by Bethany at and around her home. I have put these on this web page to aid viewing.

Galleries allow you to view a collection of photos in various ways.

To view photos in a gallery:
1. View a larger version of a single image in a separate page – Right Click on the image then Left Click on “Open link in new tab” or “Open link in new window”.
Or…
2. Display an enlarged gallery – Left Click on an image – use the large side arrows to move between images – Left Click outside an image or press ESC to close the enlarged gallery

The first gallery is of photos taken by Bethany using my Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera fitted with a Canon 24-105 mm F4 L zoom lens. Below each photo is a caption giving the file identity of the photo (as assigned by the camera). Where a -2 version is present I have produced this by editing the non-2 photo in Adobe Lightroom software to lessen the glare of the sun and to crop the content to remove unwanted areas of the composition. Photo OD4A6486.jpg is blurred due to the camera not being held steady while taking the photo.

The gallery below was also taken by Bethany using Karen’s Canon EOS 100D camera fitted with a Canon 18-55 mm F3.5 zoom lens. I have not included any edited versions nor have I included all the photos that were taken as some were very similar to those below.

The framing, or composition of some of the photos is a little wayward and there is blurring of the flowers due to being too close to the near ones. Isabelle’s toys are also blurred due to her shaking them and the photo not being taken with a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the movement (due to insufficient light in the room and no compensating camera setting adjustment) – a great photo of Isabelle nevertheless!
