As well as the Higgins Family were Karen and I and a guest hailing from South Kore, Bumsoo Lee, who is also studying on Mike’s sport management post-graduate course.
Karen and I travelled to Kibworth Beauchamp late morning and present opening continued until a traditional turkey Christmas lunch excellently constructed by Mike assisted by sous-chef Katherine.
Unfortunately, my flashgun refused to work correctly so we struggled to take indoor photos, but Bumsoo Lee managed one of the gathering around the table as lunch was being served and a rare one of me.
Later after Katherine had cleared up the dishes we visited the Manor Farm Riding School and Livery Stables at nearby Saddington where Katherine and Ellie stable their horses – Amber and Peggy. The horses were roaming freely in a 20 acre field nearby so they were led back to the stables.
Unfortunately, photography was thwarted again by poor prevailing light but I have managed to make the best of those that weren’t too burred in the Gallery below.
