Visit 1 – 23 December 2016

At Karen and Geoff’s – Geoff, Karen, Charlie, Michael, Bethany, Josh and Isabelle

Unfortunately Shannon and Mell could not make it.

I prepared my latest version of Spaghetti Bolognaise which all seemed to enjoy. We decided not to venture out for a walk as the weather was unfavourable.

Bethany performed her leaping gymnastics to be photographed.

Visit 2 – 31 December 2016

At Charlie and Michael’s – Geoff, Karen, Charlie, Michael, Bethany, Mel, Josh and Isabelle

This meeting was to deliver our Christmas presents to the children.

Michael was held up at work (sad!) so after 90 minutes Karen and I could wait no longer to see the reactions of the children to what we had delivered. The car boot was full of presents and armfuls for us to carry in.

Their joy of opening their presents was very rewarding especially the large Disney TSUMs and Lindor chocolates which we knew they enjoyed from their earlier December visit to us (they are my favourites also!).

The TSUMS were a great source of playful expression from cuddling to balancing on heads. Much fun was had by all!

The only pity is that Shannon couldn’t make our visit to open the presents we brought. Oh well that’s teanagers for you!
