It was a disappointingly rainy day so we were stuck in doors…not that this wasn’t a very pleasant place to be but the scope for varied photos was limited.

We had nibbles for starters then Paula’s home cooked Beef Stroganoff – delicious!

Dandan was in a friendly communicative mood and over lunch (he had eaten earlier at a Birthday party), he entertained us with his brilliant grasp of addition equations presented on a drawing pad, eg

7 + ? = 9, 35 + ?=38

Mila was very alert, watching all that was going on with interest and can now run around energetically, with only the occasional crash – but Formula 1 drivers have similar performance don’t they and they’re a lot older!
