Karen and I met Olive outside the new John Lewis Store in Grand Central, Birmingham.

We had lunch at our apartment, Bruschetta then Spaghetti Bolognese.

The we went for a tour of the Autumn colours at the Botanical Gardens, finishing off with a slice of Victoria sponge cake and a cup of tea – what else?!

It was of course Halloween and so there were many children dressed up spookily!
