Prior to the visit, Jon and Ruth had to take Sam to A&E due to an accident with his ankle. Luckily X-rays immediately showed no apparent facture but a return for further examination will be necessary on a return visit next Tuesday.

So, the afternoon was delayed a little by this plus closure of the M54 requiring various diversions around.

We presented the boys with a pile of Lego pieces I had rescued from our apartments’ bin store. They were from a large galleon but only half were found. Nevertheless the boys had some fun and displayed ingenuity in using the pieces to create models.
