It was three weeks since Sam’s 7th birthday. Karen and I hadn’t seen him until today, so we gave him our present – an electronics set from which 78 different circuits can be built. Jonathan and Sam soon had built several including a radio.

The set being for 8 year olds upwards, Henry found the whole thing a mystery and was content to just  look on whilst eating his second lunch.
