I wandered about the city centre yesterday to find some Spring flowers for you, as they’re not allowed in your hospital (we think).

Whilst there are many pansy type flowers in full bloom, I did not encounter any  Daffodils, Tulips or Crocuses. I hope that next weekend the local gardens that we visit very regularly will be in pretty bloom.

Anyway, below is an initial shot at spring blooms and below that a photo showing what is happening to the city centre end of Broad Street with the new HSBC head office on the left and the new Holiday Inn Express hotel (the chess board?) on the right distance.
