The children were in a very friendly mood….Mila has lately grown into a very lovely and confident little girl with very engaging eyes….Dan growing up (of course) and very positive about all things….both very cheerful and friendly.

As the photos show, the children loved playing under the sofa, a space restricted to under 7’s due to low ground clearance. Thanks to Karen for crouching down to floor level to take the photos.

The piano and rowing machine were their other favourite diversions.

After lunch we visited the IKON Gallery nearby and enjoyed the murals and model ships of the Hew Locke: Here’s the Thing art exhibition.

The musical lift in the gallery gave Paula a chance for a group selfie.
