Not managing to meet up over the Christmas period, we thought the boys’ presents from us would provide them with something to give an interest to their day.

Well they did, but before the unwrapping they played energetically together running round the room and sliding along the wooden floor.

In fact the unwrapping provided us grown ups with a little relief from their high spirits, they became remarkably quiet while building the Lego set.

Both boys were very friendly to us  and Henry was much more communicative than when we  last saw him – great for him and us!

Sam is now 7 years 4 months old and Henry 3 years 11 months.
