We thought Dandan would like to visit the Big Hoot in Birmingham city Centre. This is an event of 89 giant models of owls decorated by a collection of artists and sponsored by a number of companies and organisations.

The owls took up there positions in the city streets and squares on 20 July and will remain there until 27 September when they will be auctioned to raise money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Children visiting the owls have had a whale of a time posing for photographs in front of as many owls as they could.
