We lunched on polish sausage, followed by Spaghetti Bolognaise , followed by chocolate  spiders for the children.

Then we went for a walk into the city centre. Katherine purchased a coat for William at Gap.

Mike and William had a simulated ride round Silverstone Grand Prix circuit outside the Bullring Centre.

The afternoon was rounded off with indulgencies in profiteroles, mince pies and strawberry trifle.

Then for good measure a portion of Cadbury’s Banana Caramel Crisp bar was the taste temptation, a known favourite for Mike!

Learning from previous problems that Ellie and William are photo shy it was just left to Karen who managed to get two good photos and one by Katherine demanding a pose of using her iphone in front of the water feature in Brindleyplace ( a trifle small but, nevertheless, a very welcome addition to family history), all edited by me as below.
