Summer was in full bloom in the walled garden.

We should all rejoice in a British Summer! Especially when the sun shines.

Winterbourne in Edgbaston, Birmingham provides a superb source  for this enjoyment.

What is great about Winterbourne is that all seasons and all sub-seasons are presented somewhere in the gardens to their particular extraordinary splendour.

It would seem that all the seasons have arrived early this year and the walled garden is now showing off its magnificent blooms.

Just to wander around and examine each bloom is a highly relaxing and pleasurable taste of nature.
